Chocolate

Askinosie Chocolate is based out of Springfield, Missouri and the owners take the time to personally inspect EVERY farm that their cocoa beans come from, no matter where that may be in the world. This is the closest to "made on the farm" chocolate one can get. 

The Chocolate Process

  1. Locate the farmer and evaluate the cocoa beans
    • Tanzania, Phillipines, Ecuador or Mexico
  2. Purchase cocoa beans directly from the farmers
  3. Transport cocoa beans to the U.S.
  4. FDA, USDA and Customs inspections
  5. Beans arrive at Askinosie in Springfield, Missouri
  6. Roast cocoa beans (This is when the beans get their chocolate flavor)
  7. Processed, turned into chocolate products and packaged for sale
  8. Purchased by Allens Grove Greenhouse
